What does "unlimited" mean?

Unlimited plans are for legitimate business use. We don't cap normal usage — no scan throttles, no QR code limits. We do reserve the right to limit accounts running bot traffic, spam campaigns, phishing links, resale operations, or anything that drains infrastructure. Business plan has higher thresholds than Pro; Enterprise has custom limits negotiated upfront.

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. Your 7-day trial starts immediately with full Pro access. No credit card until you upgrade.

What's the difference between Pro and Business?

Pro is built for solo operators and small marketing teams — unlimited codes, full analytics, AI insights, and up to 10 teammates. Business adds the operational surface agencies and multi-location brands need: shared workspace controls, custom domains, webhooks, retargeting pixels, white-label dashboards, and 20 teammates.

Does every plan include the AI features?

Yes. Weekly briefings, anomaly explanations, one-click performance reports, and campaign metadata suggestions are on every paid tier — and during your 7-day trial. The AI is grounded in your own scan data — if a trend can't be verified against your real scans, the AI says the data is insufficient rather than guessing.

Can I track QR code scans by location, device, and time?

Yes. Every scan is geo-resolved in real time and shown on a world choropleth map, a day-by-hour heatmap, and a top-referrers panel. You can also filter by device, browser, OS, and whether we flagged the scan as a bot.

Can QR codes expire or be password-protected?

Yes. Every paid plan includes scan expiry, password-gated links, and one-time secure links — useful for time-limited promos, paid events, and confidential deliveries.

Can I change a QR code's destination after printing?

Yes — that's what dynamic QR codes do. The printed QR stays the same; you edit the destination URL inside ScanForge whenever your campaign changes.

How many teammates can I add?

What counts as abuse?

Bot-generated scan floods, fake traffic inflation, phishing/malware redirects, mass spam distribution, API scraping at infrastructure scale, reselling one account to multiple customers, or extreme storage abuse. Normal business use — even high volume — is always fine.
